Shoaib says IPL shift could pave way for Pakistani cricketers


LAHORE: Shoaib Akhtar is hopeful the Indian Premier League (IPL)’s impending move to South Africa or England could pave the way for Pakistani players to return to the lucrative Twenty20 tournament. Discovery astronauts’ complete final spacewalk


WASHINGTON: Discovery astronauts ended their third and final spacewalk on Monday on a slight down note, unable to fix a jammed cargo carrier system, NASA said. Richard Arnold and Joseph Acaba, two former science teachers turned astronauts, carried out a six-and-a-half hour walk in space, which included attempts to unblock the external cargo carrier. ISLAMABAD: The appointment of judges appointed after November 3, 2007 has been challenged in Supreme Court.Challenging the appointments, senior advocate Supreme Court Akram Sheikh in his petition sated that judges appointed after November 3, 2007 should not be given judicial tasks and it should be clarify whether these appointments were made with the consultation of chief justice or not.
